This hybrid Beaverton, OR position offers contract-to-hire opportunities with exposure to a major West Coast client and onsite field coordination.

What You'll Do5

  • 1Build and document steel structural systems for industrial and commercial facilities in construction drawings
  • 2Develop supports, anchors, platforms, catwalks, pedestals, piping and conduit supports
  • 3Produce construction documents and specifications for multi-discipline projects
  • 4Coordinate with team members, clients and subcontractors to discuss and refine design strategies
  • 5Review codes and standards including OSSC and ASCE7 to ensure compliant designs

Requirements5

  • 1EIT certification required, PE preferred
  • 2Proficiency in AutoCAD for design and documentation
  • 3Strong understanding of structural steel, design calculations and building codes
  • 4At least 3 years of structural engineering experience
  • 5BS in Structural or Civil Engineering and familiarity with AISC and seismic design principles
