What You'll Do11
- 1Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers
- 2Foster associate growth through training on operations and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriate
- 3Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
- 4Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations while enforcing company policies and procedures
- 5Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
- 6Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters
- 7Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution
- 8Protect company assets
- 9Maintain high customer service standards
- 10Ensure a positive safe respectful environment with professional friendly interactions
- 11Manage freight processing with strong productivity
Requirements10
- 13+ years prior retail management experience preferred
- 2Hardlines or variety merchandise experience preferred
- 3BIG BOX retail experience a plus
- 4Strong productivity management in freight processing required
- 5Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- 6Frequent walking standing stooping kneeling climbing pushing pulling and repetitive lifting required
- 7Must meet demands of high-energy team environment
- 8Accommodation for lifting requirements necessary
- 9Effective communication interpersonal and written skills required
- 10Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience
