Assistant Store Manager - Dollar Tree
Overview
We seek an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations customer service and team development at our Philadelphia location. What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities
- 2Help customers positively and address concerns
- 3Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures
- 5Process corporate directives such as Pull and Hold/Destroy and Task Compliance
- 6Maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays
- 7Assist in ordering merchandise and handling damaged items
- 8Record keep including payroll scheduling and cash transactions
- 9Protect company assets and adhere to safety guidelines
- 10Supervise train and develop store associates
- 11Ensure cleanliness through bathroom cleaning restocking and floor maintenance
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. from floor to shoulder height
- 3Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 4Experience in retail grocery or drug store environments preferred
- 5Exceptional customer service organizational and problem-solving abilities
