Assistant Store Manager Dollar Tree

Seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead store operations, enhance customer experiences, and develop teams. You will oversee daily activities, ensure store standards, and collaborate with leadership to achieve business goals.
What You'll Do11
- 1Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities
- 2Help customers in a positive approachable manner addressing questions or concerns
- 3Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery trucks to stockroom and sales floor while maintaining seasonal areas
- 4Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
- 5Process corporate directives such as Pull HoldDestroy Task Compliance Key Survey information requests and other store activity communications
- 6Maintain promotional effectiveness of storefront fixtures and displays
- 7Assist in ordering merchandise process damaged items record keep payroll scheduling and cash transactions and loss prevention
- 8Maintain store areas including sales floor stockroom to company standards protect and secure company assets
- 9Adhere to safety guidelines and ensure associates follow policies maintain positive safe respectful environment
- 10Supervise train and develop store associates help Store Manager with daily tasks
- 11Ensure cleanliness throughout store including bathroom cleaning restocking bathrooms sweeping mopping taking out trash and keeping areas neat
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma or equivalent preferred ability to read interpret and explain operational directives store management experience in retail grocery or drug store preferred
- 2Ability to lift up to 55 lbs from floor above shoulder height meet demands of frequent walking standing stooping kneeling climbing pushing pulling and repetitive lifting
- 3Strong communication interpersonal and written skills exceptional customer service organizational and problem solving abilities
- 4Strong teamwork high energy environment work ethic and ability to follow instructions
- 5Experience with POS systems inventory management and loss prevention techniques
