What You'll Do11
- 1Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers
- 2Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising
- 3Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
- 4Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations while enforcing company policies
- 5Perform opening and closing procedures as needed
- 6Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters
- 7Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution
- 8Protect company assets
- 9Maintain high level of customer service across the store
- 10Create inviting atmosphere using proper display techniques
- 11Assist with freight processing and productivity management
Requirements8
- 15+ years prior retail management experience preferred
- 2Strong productivity management in freight processing required
- 3Communication interpersonal and written skills required
- 4Ability to work in a high-energy team environment
- 5Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height
- 6Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise
- 7BIG BOX experience a plus
