Store Manager, Retail Operations & P&L
Overview
The center manager owns day-to-day operations of a UPS Store location at scale, driving customer service quality and profitability. They lead a team, manage payroll, and oversee financials and reporting to the franchise owner. This role combines people leadership, operations, and business development in a retail setting. What makes this role different is the emphasis on hands-on supervision, cost control, and continuous improvement in a physical store environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Lead personnel management including recruiting, training, scheduling, and coaching associates
- 2Schedule work assignments and run weekly or monthly staff meetings
- 3Monitor and maximize customer service delivery and customer satisfaction
- 4Develop and implement the store marketing program
- 5Manage Center financials and prepare reporting to the franchise owner
- 6Oversee inventory and daily payroll processing
- 7Oversee center maintenance including cleanliness, safety, and organization
- 8Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements5
- 1Advanced education degree coursework or tech school desired
- 2Previous store management experience including personnel and financial management
- 3P&L experience preferred
- 4Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites
- 5Outstanding phone and communication skills
