You own the daily operations of a high-volume convenience store, driving sales and team performance at a national chain. You lead a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts, ensuring every customer leaves satisfied. You step in on the register, stock shelves, and clean restrooms when needed, modeling excellence. This role demands open availability and a hands-on approach, with a $1500 sign-on bonus after six months.
What You'll Do9
- 1Own store operations, team performance, and sales goals from day one, including inventory, vendor orders, and cash handling.
- 2Lead and inspire a team of 8-15 employees across all shifts, coaching them on upselling and customer service.
- 3Cover any shift as needed, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure staffing.
- 4Perform all employee duties: run the POS register, stock shelves, clean restrooms, and maintain the lot and fuel pumps.
- 5Recruit, hire, and train new team members, focusing on growth and accountability.
- 6Manage banking and cash deposits, requiring a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and insurance.
- 7Ensure safety, food safety, and cleanliness standards meet company and regulatory requirements.
- 8Control expenses and labor hours to meet store sales targets, executing company marketing programs.
- 9Cross-train and manage deli or QSR operations when needed, taking on any task to keep the store running.
Requirements6
- 121+ years old with open availability to work any shift, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
- 2Valid driver's license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance for bank deposits.
- 32+ years of retail or food management experience preferred.
- 4Ability to lead by example in all store operations, including cleaning, upselling, and frontline service.
- 5Strong communication skills, integrity, and decisiveness.
- 6Must have or be able to obtain a Food Safety Certification.
