Overview
You will own storage engineering for a leading financial services firm, managing NetApp Ontap and Storage Grid environments across multiple data centers. You will join a team of storage experts supporting hybrid infrastructure in Charlotte NC, Chandler AZ, Irving TX, and Des Moines IA. What You'll Do8
- 1Build and configure NetApp Ontap clusters to meet performance and capacity targets in the first 90 days.
- 2Design Storage Grid object storage solutions for large-scale data workloads.
- 3Lead migration of legacy storage systems to NetApp platforms.
- 4Own storage performance monitoring and troubleshooting across NetApp and Storage Grid.
- 5Drive automation of storage provisioning using scripts and API integrations.
- 6Scale storage infrastructure to support business growth and new application deployments.
- 7Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
- 8Document storage configurations and procedures for operational excellence.
Requirements8
- 15+ years managing NetApp Ontap in enterprise environments.
- 23+ years experience with Storage Grid object storage.
- 3Proven track record of designing and implementing storage solutions for financial services.
- 4Strong scripting skills in PowerShell or Python for automation.
- 5Experience with storage performance tuning and capacity planning.
- 6Ability to troubleshoot complex storage issues across NAS and SAN environments.
- 7Familiarity with VMware, Linux, and Windows storage integration.
- 8Excellent communication and documentation skills.
