Overview
PODS Boston Storage Center Worker III operates forklifts to load and unload containers while maintaining a safe and clean environment. This role involves loading trucks for first route staging and following market manager routing instructions. The position requires daily fuel management and inspection reporting for the forklift operator.
What You'll Do11
- 1Operate the forklift to load and unload containers from local delivery and inter-franchise drivers
- 2Load trucks for first route and stage IF and access
- 3Follow AM SOP by printing routes and pulling ancillary tasks when assigned
- 4Assist Market Manager with routing and ensure containers are returned to warehouse nightly
- 5Maintain PODHUNTER Fuel forklift and complete daily inspection reports
- 6Notify manager of needed repairs for damaged containers
- 7Ensure safe and clean working environment inside and out of assigned facility
- 8Print and time-stamp all waybills and scan/upload contracts and documents
- 9Repair damaged containers when required
- 10Maintain contact with drivers to assist with daily routes
- 11Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements12
- 1High School diploma or equivalent
- 24-6 years storage center experience preferred
- 3Previous forklift experience required
- 4Ability to obtain Forklift Driver Certification
- 5Basic computer skills including data entry and Microsoft Office knowledge
- 6Math skills sufficient for required duties
