What You'll Do8
- 1Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers at all times
- 2Manage cargo from incoming trucks by removing from truck by hand or using manual equipment such as hand truck or pallet jack or forklift
- 3Verify and note the count and condition of cargo received knowing when to refuse or accept with notation
- 4Record receipts to appropriate forms and/or log books
- 5Sort cargo received by account or intended location and store in proper location
- 6Accurately label freight to destination
- 7Perform forklift duties and learn to containerize basic loads
- 8Monitor warehouse maintenance tasks including sweeping floors storing equipment etc
Requirements7
- 1High School Diploma or GED minimum one to three years related experience minimum one year industry experience preferred
- 2Forklift Driver Certification valid state issued driver’s license preferred
- 3Ability to frequently lift move up to fifty pounds
- 4Ability to drive and/or operate heavy equipment
- 5Basic math skills addition subtraction multiplication division
- 6Responds promptly professionally to customer needs performs in a team environment
- 7Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner reads completes basic checklists forms documents
