Stocking Associate Merchandiser Part Time
Overview
As a Stocking Associate at Total Wine & More, you will own product inventory and merchandising across the store floor, supporting both in-store and online operations. You will manage freight, build displays, and ensure a clean, safe, and compliant environment. Working with a team of merchandisers, you will report to the store management team. What You'll Do9
- 1Process incoming freight, organize and distribute inventory, and pull and stock merchandise to maximize product availability.
- 2Build displays and end caps, place signage, and maintain visual merchandising standards to drive sales.
- 3Fulfill digital orders and assist with in-store and curbside pick-up, including loading and delivering orders safely.
- 4Greet customers, engage to build relationships, and inform about products and services to enhance the shopping experience.
- 5Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to build product knowledge and confidence.
- 6Maintain knowledge of advertisements, promotions, and loyalty programs to support store sales goals.
- 7Uphold safety and cleanliness standards across the store, ensuring compliance with all applicable alcohol laws and regulations.
- 8Complete cross-functional duties as assigned, including sales and front-end support during peak times.
- 9Load and deliver orders in a safe and professional manner, following company policies and traffic laws if delivery is part of the role.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of experience in a retail setting preferred.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 3Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- 4Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- 5Must be 21 years of age or older.
- 6Physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for 8-10 hours per day.
- 7Ability to safely lift and handle cases and pallets, climb ladders, and lift 50 lbs. overhead and repeatedly.
- 8May be exposed to various outdoor weather conditions during deliveries.
