What You'll Do8
- 1Greet customers warmly and assist with product selection, using POS systems to process transactions accurately.
- 2Stock shelves and maintain organized displays of wine, beer, and spirits to ensure a clean, inviting store.
- 3Handle cash and card payments, reconcile the register at shift end, and secure all transactions.
- 4Answer customer questions about product availability, pricing, and store policies with a helpful attitude.
- 5Follow state and local regulations for age verification and responsible alcohol sales.
- 6Support inventory counts and assist with receiving deliveries from distributors.
- 7Maintain cleanliness of the sales floor, including sweeping, dusting, and restocking supplies.
- 8Collaborate with team members to open and close the store, following all cash-up procedures.
Requirements6
- 11+ years of retail or customer service experience, preferably in a liquor or grocery setting.
- 2High school diploma or equivalent; previous cash handling with POS systems preferred.
- 3Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs to stock shelves and move cases.
- 4Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled, with reliable transportation to the store.
- 5Strong communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor with customers and coworkers.
- 6Must be 21+ years old and pass a background check for alcohol sales compliance.
