Sterile Processing Tech Job at International SOS
Overview
You will own sterile supply readiness and inventory control for veteran-focused healthcare programs at International SOS Government Medical Services, serving clinical teams across the U.S. and internationally. Using HSPA or CBSPD certification, you will manage medical supplies and equipment to ensure operational readiness. You will collaborate with clinical staff and vendors to maintain accurate inventory, prepare specialty carts, and support safe distribution. This role offers a stable full-time schedule with multiple shifts and competitive hourly pay.
What You'll Do6
- 1Pull and replenish medical supplies, monitor expiration dates and critical stock levels, and complete daily barcode-based inventory activities to ensure readiness.
- 2Receive, inspect, and organize incoming supplies, maintaining clean and orderly storage areas for efficient access and distribution.
- 3Prepare specialty carts and distribute supplies and equipment to patient care areas and procedural settings in a timely, functional condition.
- 4Track supply usage, identify shortages or discrepancies, and coordinate orders, returns, and replenishment with vendors and suppliers.
- 5Provide supply information to internal customers, address concerns, and support efficient clinical workflows.
- 6Follow aseptic, safety, sanitation, and regulatory practices while cleaning assigned areas and supporting equipment maintenance.
Requirements6
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Current HSPA or CBSPD certification.
- 3Current BLS certification.
- 4Experience with medical supply inventory management, receiving, distribution, specialty-cart preparation, stock replenishment, expiration monitoring, and barcode-based inventory processes.
- 5Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods and perform bending, stooping, and lifting of up to 15 pounds.
- 6U.S. citizenship or Permanent Resident status; ability to obtain and maintain VA Public Trust clearance.
