What You'll Do9
- 1Prepare and arrange operating rooms by organizing instruments trays and supplies
- 2Clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved chemical agents
- 3Operate sterilization machines following manufacturer specifications
- 4Maintain accurate inventory records for instruments and supplies
- 5Train new hires and provide ongoing skill development opportunities
- 6Assist senior technicians with complex case handling
- 7Implement process enhancements to reduce turnaround times
- 8Ensure compliance with OSHA and CDC regulations
- 9Collaborate with nursing staff to optimize supply chain logistics
Requirements9
- 15+ years experience in sterile processing environments
- 2Certified Board Sterile Processing & Dist or equivalent certification
- 3Associate degree in Allied Health or related field
- 4Proven knowledge of ISO 14644 cleanroom standards
- 5Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 6Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- 7Strong attention to detail and pattern recognition capabilities
- 8Experience with automated processing systems
- 9Familiarity with chemical processing agents and biological safety cabinets
