Overview
You will own sterile compounding operations at SpecialtyRx, a Long-Term Care pharmacy serving facilities across Atlanta. You will prepare IV medications, manage the compounding room setup, and rotate stock to maintain quality control. The role is onsite and direct-hire, working under a supervisor while collaborating with a pharmacy team. IV Medication experience and a GA Pharmacy Technician license are required, with PTCB certification preferred.
What You'll Do7
- 1Set up the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for sterile solution preparation.
- 2Mix and package IV Medications for long-term care patients.
- 3Perform cleaning and maintenance of the compounding area to meet pharmacy standards.
- 4Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality control.
- 5Participate in periodic pharmacy inventory counts.
- 6Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support daily workflow and goals.
- 7Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor in a reliable manner.
