Pharmacy Technician I, Sterile Compounding
Overview
You will own sterile medication preparation at ReviveRX, a licensed pharmacy focused on health and wellness. You will compound customized sterile medications using aseptic technique in a controlled cleanroom, ensuring USP compliance. You will collaborate with pharmacists and healthcare providers, and support prescription fulfillment and clinical coordination. This role offers hands-on CSPT certification experience and cross-training in a service-oriented environment.
What You'll Do8
- 1Prepare sterile medications and solutions following established procedures and standards.
- 2Measure and weigh ingredients accurately, following strict protocols and maintaining a clean sterile work area.
- 3Operate and maintain compounding equipment such as laminar airflow hoods and biological safety cabinets.
- 4Apply sterile techniques to ensure the integrity and safety of compounded products.
- 5Clean and maintain compounding areas and equipment to meet strict regulatory requirements.
- 6Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to compound and dispense sterile medications.
- 7Maintain accurate documentation of compounded medications and associated records.
- 8Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements9
- 1High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.
- 3Pharmacy Technician certification (CPhT).
- 4Sterile compounding certification (CSPT).
- 51+ year of experience in a pharmacy setting.
- 6Ability to work with pharmacy software, cloud-based communication tools, and mobile platforms.
- 7Strong attention to detail, reliable time management, and a team-oriented attitude.
- 8Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- 9Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
