Overview

Own gemstone review, cataloging, and inventory control at scalewithin Brilliant Earths fast paced operations team. You will ensure quality and efficiency for loose gemstones estate jewelry and supplier coordination. What You'll Do7

  • 1Build and maintain systems to review and quality assure diamonds and colored gemstones ensuring high quality and cost control
  • 2Catalog estate jewelry items including appraisal and repair evaluations where necessary to support sourcing and sales
  • 3Track and manage gemstone inventory with high accuracy and strict organization across multiple suppliers
  • 4Coordinate orders across suppliers and monitor purchase orders to ensure timely arrival and processing
  • 5Develop and implement processes and policies to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • 6Collaborate with sales team to source special order gemstones and diamonds
  • 7Assist with sourcing requirements and maintain documentation for audits and compliance

Requirements10

  • 1Graduate Gemologist degree required
  • 2Experience in jewelry products required estate jewelry preferred
  • 3Certification in fine jewelry appraisal preferred
  • 4Operations and or administrative experience preferred
  • 5Inventory supply chain experience in a retail or e commerce environment preferred
  • 6Highly organized with focus on execution problem solving and improving processes
  • 7Excellent written and verbal communications and strong computer skills
  • 8Interest in socially and environmentally responsible organizations and products
  • 9Ability to think critically and adapt quickly in a flexible environment
  • 10Entrepreneurial spirit self starter
