- 1Design and implement flight controls for aircraft automation system
- 2Decompose system requirements into low level flight controls requirements
- 3Create and use simulation tools including Simulink control law modeling and MATLAB analysis
- 4Participate in flight testing for system identification and verification
- 5Own flight control system from end-to-end and ensure customer satisfaction
- 6Collaborate across Merlin to develop novel certifiable systems
Requirements6
- 1BS in Aerospace Mechanical Electrical Engineering with 5+ years experience
- 2Experience developing fixed wing control systems with classical and modern methods
- 3Proven ability to decompose system requirements for outer and inner loop design
- 4Proficiency in Model Based Development and certification including MATLAB/Simulink
- 5Experience designing real-time software with linear model development and frequency domain analysis
- 6Pilot license preferred
