Staff Accountant, Syteline ERP & Multicompany Focus
Overview
Own the accounts payable and accounts receivable lifecycle at QA1 Precision Products, a high-performance motorsports parts leader, supporting the Lakeville HQ. Work with a small Finance team on month-end close, reconciliations, and transactional analysis. Collaborate across departments and contribute to process improvements in an active manufacturing environment. This role offers growth opportunities and exposure to multiple accounting functions.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and process vendor invoices, match POs/receipts, and ensure proper coding in Syteline ERP
- 2Enter international inventory receipts and resolve PO discrepancies to enable accurate financial reporting
- 3Handle vendor invoicing issues, credits, and returns while monitoring payment terms
- 4Monitor discounts, schedule payments, and prepare disbursements to optimize cash flow
- 5Review employee expense reports and reconcile credit card statements for accuracy and compliance
- 6Ship and manage customer invoicing, credits, and apply payments to accounts receivable
- 7Follow up on past-due accounts and resolve discrepancies to improve collections
- 8Support tax filings and provide transactional assistance during monthly close
- 9Provide backup support for reception and general administrative tasks as needed
- 10Assist with shipping claims and cross-functional documentation to ensure orderly processing
Requirements10
- 1Associate’s degree in Accounting or related field or equivalent experience
- 2Minimum of 2 years in a similar capacity with strong foundational accounting knowledge
- 3Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- 4Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative approach to challenges
- 5Self-starter with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- 6Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and quick learner of ERP systems such as Syteline
- 7Effective written and verbal communication with internal and external parties
- 8Willingness to learn and accept feedback to drive improvement
- 9Capability to thrive in a diverse team environment
