Staff Accountant, Healthcare & Multi-Entity Accounting
Overview
Own the month-end close and financial reporting across multiple facilities at a growing healthcare organization. You’ll work with a regional team to consolidate ledgers, perform reconciliations, and support audits in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This role provides broad exposure to financial statements, HUD lending requirements, and government reporting. What sets this role apart is the multi-entity scope and partnership with AP, AR, and payroll to resolve issues.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build month-end close for multiple facilities and prepare journal entries and reconciliations
- 2Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and vendor balances and tighten controls
- 3Produce financial reports and lender reporting for management and lenders
- 4Support annual audits and government reporting with accurate documentation
- 5Investigate payroll discrepancies with the payroll team and resolve variances
- 6Partner with AP and AR to resolve accounting issues and improve processes
- 7Assist with HUD lending requirements and special projects
- 8Maintain accurate financial records across multiple entities
- 9Contribute to process improvements and internal controls during month-end close
- 10Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely, compliant reporting
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 22+ years of accounting experience preferred
- 3General ledger and reconciliation experience
- 4Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- 5Strong communication and collaborative skills
- 6Healthcare or multi-entity accounting experience is a plus
- 7Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- 8Analytical, organized and detail-oriented
