Overview
We seek a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to maintain financial integrity and support operations at Tampa Family Health Centers. What You'll Do9
- 1Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries
- 2Perform monthly account reconciliations and financial analysis
- 3Complete monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- 4Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
- 5Handle payroll accounting records and fixed asset documentation
- 6Assist with annual audits by preparing schedules and responding to auditor requests
- 7Prepare productivity reports and variance analyses
- 8Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards
- 9Support day-to-day finance functions and other assigned duties
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
- 2Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
- 3Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
- 4Strong analytical and organizational skills
- 5Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- 6High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- 7Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- 8Capacity to maintain confidentiality with sensitive financial information
