What You'll Do11
- 1Prepare and post journal entries including accruals and prepaids
- 2Support month-end close processes through assigned tasks
- 3Conduct balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- 4Analyze financial results and explain account variances
- 5Partner with AP AR payroll and operations for transaction accuracy
- 6Assist with inventory accounting and fixed asset management
- 7Maintain depreciation schedules and supporting documentation
- 8Prepare schedules and workpapers for audits and reporting
- 9Respond to external audit requests and gather documentation
- 10Follow internal controls and recommend process improvements
- 11Participate in special projects and financial analysis initiatives
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 22-4 years progressive accounting experience
- 3Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and general accounting principles
- 4Experience with journal entries and month-end close activities
- 5Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 6ERP system proficiency especially NetSuite
- 7Advanced Microsoft Excel with formulas and large datasets
- 8Organizational skills to manage multiple priorities
- 9Effective communication and cross-department collaboration
- 10CPA or CPA candidate bonus preferred
- 11Experience in eCommerce retail or inventory environments
