What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and inspect fire suppression systems ensuring accuracy in service records and inspection reports
  • 2Test and verify system functionality of Pre-Action, Dry, Wet, and Fire Pumps components
  • 3Repair and install new fire protection equipment and system components in field settings
  • 4Respond to emergency service calls and perform urgent repairs when needed
  • 5Stay up-to-date with fire codes, manufacturer updates, and industry best practices
  • 6Support annual inspections and assist with regulatory audits or fire marshal reviews
  • 7Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours service
  • 8Attend the office weekly to pick up materials and return to the field
  • 9Maintain accurate documentation and logs for all service activities
  • 10Assist with preventative maintenance programs and lifecycle management

Requirements5

  • 17+ years of experience in Fire Life Safety or related field preferably Fire Suppression
  • 2NICET or CSA certifications
  • 3Strong knowledge of testing and servicing Pre-Action Dry Wet systems and Fire Pumps
  • 4Able to read and interpret fire codes and manufacturer updates
  • 5Willingness to participate in on-call rotation and travel to sites
