Overview

Own on-site service, troubleshooting and repair of low voltage panels and devices at customer sites with complex issues. What You'll Do10

  • 1Build and repair low voltage panels, wiring and devices to ensure reliable system operation
  • 2Test systems and verify signals to validate correct functionality
  • 3Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality
  • 4Document service hours and task progress to maintain accurate records
  • 5Maintain truck stock and organize technical resources for efficient task execution
  • 6Complete required documentation on productivity and service activities
  • 7Travel to customer sites and work on-call as needed
  • 8Read plans and install panels, boxes and wiring according to codes
  • 9Obtain NICET Level I certification and pursue Level II within 1 year
  • 10Support audits and compliance with local and national codes

Requirements10

  • 1Minimum of high school diploma or vocational training
  • 2Three or more years of experience in fire alarm systems, intrusion systems, CCTV, and access control
  • 3Mastery knowledge of troubleshooting commercial fire and security systems
  • 4Working knowledge of local and national codes and ability to read blueprints
  • 5Valid driver’s license and ability to pass drug screening
  • 6Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and policies
  • 7Must obtain NICET Level I certification and NICET Level II within 1 year for fire alarm systems
  • 8Proficient in OSHA and HAZCOM regulations
  • 9Willingness to travel and work on-site in varying environments
  • 10Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work full-time with on-call availability
