What You'll Do9
- 1Manage high-volume pharmacy adjudicated claims portfolio and perform timely follow-up on outstanding accounts to maximize cash collections and reduce aging.
- 2Research and resolve denials underpayments and payment variances by reviewing claim history EOBs and supporting documentation.
- 3Analyze account balances and reimbursement activity to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions improving collection performance.
- 4Coordinate with payers PBMs and internal teams to resolve claim issues ensure adherence to filing requirements and maximize cash collections.
- 5Manage credit balances refund requests and overpayment activity complying with Medicare Medicaid guidelines.
- 6Serve as subject matter resource for collection workflows prepare account summaries trend analysis and recommendations for leadership.
- 7Support implementation of new processes pilot workflow enhancements and train team members as needed.
- 8Monitor productivity and quality expectations while maintaining accurate documentation of collection activity claim status and account disposition.
- 9Demonstrate strong analytical problem-solving skills independent with minimal supervision ability to handle multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
Requirements5
- 1Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in pharmacy collections billing or accounts receivable.
- 2Proven experience working pharmacy adjudicated claims and interpreting EOBs and remittance advice.
- 3Strong knowledge of payer guidelines reimbursement practices and credit balance processes.
- 4Ability to identify root causes analyze trends and resolve complex account issues independently.
- 5Highly organized proactive and skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook Excel Word PowerPoint Teams and SharePoint.
