Collection Specialist Job in Phoenix, AZ | Guardian Pharmacy
Overview
You will own the collections and billing process for Saliba's Extended Care Pharmacy in Phoenix, Arizona, handling $19.00-$25.00 per hour. You will make collection calls, follow up on rejected claims, and support the Business Manager with credit card payments and audits. This role is onsite, Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm. You will be part of a team-oriented environment that values problem-solving and attention to detail. What You'll Do7
- 1Collect outstanding invoices by making collection calls to facilities and insurers.
- 2Produce collection letters for review by the Business Manager.
- 3Build relationships with facilities to obtain billing, patient set-up, and collections information.
- 4Call insurers and responsible parties to follow up on rejected claims and gather accurate insurance details.
- 5Assist the Business Manager with credit card payments, statement inquiries, audits, and collections.
- 6Collaborate with coworkers to meet department deadlines.
- 7Identify and resolve billing errors with minimal direction.
Requirements8
- 11+ years of related experience (advanced degree may substitute).
- 2High School Diploma or GED.
- 3Advanced computer skills; pharmacy operations system experience preferred.
- 4Proven ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
- 5Strong problem-solving skills with minimal direction.
- 6Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
