Speech Language Pathologist, School-Based SLP in Canonsburg PA
Overview
The SLP will own direct and indirect speech-language services for an elementary caseload of about 50 students in a school setting. You will collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support communication goals and progress toward educational objectives. What You'll Do8
- 1Build and conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments
- 2Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that drive measurable progress
- 3Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students
- 4Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- 5Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support IEP goals
- 6Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development
- 7Support students' communication skills across educational settings
- 8Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations
Requirements8
- 1PA SLP Educator Certificate
- 2PA SLP License
- 3Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- 4ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- 5Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply, if eligible
- 6Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred
- 7Knowledge of IEP processes and special education services preferred
- 8Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
