What You'll Do10
- 1Build and conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments to guide therapy goals
- 2Design and implement individualized therapy plans and IEP goals with measurable outcomes
- 3Deliver direct and consultative speech therapy services to students across articulation language fluency voice AAC and social communication
- 4Collaborate with teachers special education staff psychologists OTs PTs and families to coordinate supports
- 5Maintain accurate timely documentation and participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary teams
- 6Contribute to program placement and strategy discussions to optimize student outcomes
- 7Support students with diverse communication needs through data-driven progress monitoring
- 8Engage in ongoing professional development and apply best practices in school-based SLP services
- 9Participate in district-wide initiatives to promote inclusive education and student success
- 10Assist with caseload management and adapt plans to school schedules and student needs
Requirements9
- 1Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- 2Active TX SLP License
- 3ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- 4Clinical Fellows (CFs) encouraged to apply
- 5Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred but not required
- 6Strong communication and collaboration skills
- 7Ability to work with diverse student populations
- 8Commitment to student success and inclusive education
- 9Eligible for contract-based employment in the school setting
