You will own speech and language services for middle and high school students across the Houston area, managing a caseload of 50-60. You hold TX SLP licensure and bring 2+ years of school-based experience. You will work onsite at schools near your ZIP code, collaborating with educators, families, and special education teams. What You'll Do7
- 1Deliver direct therapy to students in grades 6-8 and 10-12, targeting IEP goals for articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatics.
- 2Complete comprehensive speech and language evaluations, including standardized assessments, to determine eligibility and guide intervention.
- 3Develop compliant IEPs with measurable goals, aligning with district and state regulations.
- 4Lead ARD meetings, presenting evaluation results and collaborating on student support plans.
- 5Maintain precise therapy documentation, including progress notes and caseload data, in school systems.
- 6Partner with teachers and paraprofessionals to integrate communication strategies into classroom routines.
- 7Coach families on carryover activities to reinforce speech and language skills at home.

- 22+ years of school-based experience, with middle and high school preferred.
