What You'll Do7
- 1Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication impairments using evidence based techniques
- 2Establish treatment goals and develop clinical evaluation programs
- 3Provide rehabilitative services under medical orders within a coordinated care model
- 4Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patient care plans
- 5Treat residents one on one with functional based approaches
- 6Maintain accurate documentation and communicate progress to physicians and caregivers
- 7Contribute to quality improvement initiatives across multiple facilities
Requirements5
- 1Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology
- 2Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist/SLP
- 3Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interaction
- 4Clinical expertise in treating dysphagia and communication disorders
- 5Collaborative mindset for interdisciplinary teamwork
