Special Projects Lead, K-12 Education Strategy
Overview
You will own high-impact strategic initiatives for the Academic & Pedagogical Excellence team at Amplify, working directly with the Chief Academic Officer to drive operational excellence and market awareness. In this role, you will lead cross-functional projects from inception to completion, manage the department's operational rhythm, and act as a force multiplier across the Product organization. You will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, synthesize complex information for decision-making, and represent Amplify at external conferences. What You'll Do9
- 1Lead high-priority surge projects from kickoff to delivery, ensuring milestones are met and outcomes exceed expectations within the first 90 days.
- 2Build and maintain strong relationships with key individuals across the Product organization to accelerate collaboration and unblock dependencies.
- 3Drive the quarterly goal-setting process, coordinating with product teams to align priorities and ensure clear communication of decisions and deliverables.
- 4Monitor project risks and emerging blockers, proactively alerting the Chief Academic Officer and recommending mitigation strategies.
- 5Plan and track the CAO's major deliverables, co-creating meeting agendas and cadences to optimize the leadership team's focus.
- 6Serve as a thought partner to the CAO, distilling complex information and providing data-driven insights for strategic decisions.
- 7Represent Amplify at external conferences and meetings, attending bimonthly with the CAO to deepen market insights and foster influential connections.
- 8Coordinate with the Government Relations team to help prioritize external thought leadership and advocacy efforts.
- 9Establish a culture of innovation and pedagogical excellence, encouraging teams to pursue continuous improvement and impactful outcomes.
Requirements6
- 112+ years of experience in strategy, operations, or project management in a high-growth environment, with a Bachelor's degree; or 8 years with a Master's; or 5 years with a PhD.
- 2Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects from concept to completion, with measurable results.
- 3Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority in a matrixed organization.
- 4Strong prioritization and analytical skills, capable of balancing short-term demands with long-term strategic goals.
- 5High proficiency in workplace productivity software, including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools like Jira or Asana.
- 6Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and the needs of school systems is a plus.

$137 - $157k per year
