Billing Operations Specialist, NetSuite & Salesforce
Overview
You will own the end-to-end billing cycle for Amplify's K-12 education platform, serving 18 million students and teachers across 50 states. You will generate and issue accurate invoices using NetSuite, process payments, and resolve discrepancies to maintain cash flow. Working with the Sales and Accounts Receivable teams, you will ensure billing accuracy by reviewing customer accounts in Salesforce and support month-end close activities. What You'll Do6
- 1Generate and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner using NetSuite.
- 2Process and apply customer payments, reconcile discrepancies, and support accounts receivable and collections aging activities.
- 3Partner with the Sales team to ensure billing accuracy by reviewing customer accounts and sales orders in Salesforce.
- 4Collaborate with the Accounts Receivable team to resolve billing inquiries, payment discrepancies, and collection-related issues.
- 5Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, including preparing and analyzing accounts receivable reports.
- 6Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement efficiencies while ensuring compliance with company policies.
Requirements9
- 12-4 years of experience in an accounts receivable, billing, or similar financial role.
- 2Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- 3Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and other advanced formulas.
- 4Demonstrated experience with NetSuite for billing, invoicing, and reporting.
- 5Experience with Salesforce, particularly in a user capacity to access customer and sales information.
- 6Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- 7Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- 8Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- 9Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
