Special Education Teacher, Pennsylvania & IEP Leadership
Overview
Special Education Teacher role in Philadelphia PA onsite contract with ProCare Therapy. You will own IEP development, progress tracking, and inclusive classroom planning for students with diverse needs across elementary to high school levels. You will join a collaborative school team and receive ongoing recruiter support throughout your assignment. This position emphasizes individualized instruction and compliance with state and federal regulations. What You'll Do10
- 1Build and implement IEPs and track student progress to drive measurable growth
- 2Design and modify curricula for diverse learners promoting academic and social development
- 3Collaborate with general educators, families, and support staff to align goals and services
- 4Partner with multidisciplinary teams to ensure state and federal regulatory compliance
- 5Maintain accurate documentation and reporting to support ongoing student achievement
- 6Provide accommodations and modifications to optimize access to learning across settings
- 7Engage in ongoing data collection and progress monitoring to inform instruction
- 8Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to decision-making for student services
- 9Deliver inclusive instruction in a setting with varying grade levels and needs
- 10Coordinate with school teams to support successful transition planning and outcomes
Requirements5
- 1Active Special Education Teaching License in Pennsylvania
- 2Previous school-based experience preferred
- 3Strong classroom management and IEP implementation skills
- 4Ability to pass a background check
- 5W-2 contracted position and willingness to collaborate with a recruiter
