What You'll Do9
- 1Build individualized lesson plans aligned with state standards and IEP goals
- 2Lead small-group interventions targeting reading and math skills
- 3Deliver explicit instruction using evidence-based methods
- 4Maintain detailed records and progress reports for IEP compliance
- 5Collaborate with general education teachers for curriculum integration
- 6Provide ongoing support to classroom teachers regarding student needs
- 7Develop and implement behavior management plans as needed
- 8Conduct regular assessments to track student growth
- 9Participate in team meetings to discuss student progress and strategies
Requirements8
- 1Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification for special education
- 2Knowledge of IDEA and IEP implementation requirements
- 3Experience with structured literacy programs such as Really Great Reading
- 4Proficiency with data-driven instruction techniques
- 5Ability to work in inclusive, mixed-grade educational environments
- 6Strong organizational and documentation skills
- 7Experience collaborating within charter school settings
- 8Familiarity with Pennsylvania Chapter 711 regulations
