What You'll Do11
- 1Design and implement individualized therapy plans to achieve therapeutic goals
- 2Conduct comprehensive assessments and document progress reports
- 3Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care
- 4Provide direct therapy services in clinical and home environments
- 5Maintain accurate client records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- 6Adapt interventions based on child's developmental needs and progress
- 7Train staff on assessment tools and therapeutic techniques
- 8Support families through education and emotional guidance
- 9Travel to various service locations as needed
- 10Participate in team meetings and professional development activities
- 11Contribute to program improvement initiatives
Requirements10
- 1NYS certification in Special Education or related field
- 2Valid teaching license or clinical supervision credential
- 3Experience working with children ages birth to 21 years
- 4Proficiency in ABA methodologies and evidence-based practices
- 5Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- 6Ability to lift 10 pounds and perform physical tasks
- 7Flexibility to travel and work varied schedules
- 8Commitment to ethical practice and confidentiality standards
- 9Experience with diverse populations and settings
