What You'll Do19
- 1Ensures customers have a seamless parking experience and facilitates the expedient flow of traffic through the facility
- 2Assists customers in making payment to fully automated revenue control equipment
- 3Goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience
- 4Assists in the management of the day-to-day activities of the assigned location
- 5Monitors parkers in pay-in lanes
- 6Makes every customer interaction a moment that matters through friendly and professional conduct
- 7Willing to assist customers that have forgotten where they parked their vehicle
- 8Performs other necessary functions as assigned
- 9Conducts garage and facility audits as required by management
- 10Counts bank of revenue at beginning of shift to ensure starting total is correct
- 11Makes change for customers before transactions
- 12Quotes rates for parking services
- 13Gives directions to city locations and assists customers, ensuring they get where they are going quickly and easily
- 14Resolves customer complaints independently or with the aid of a supervisor
- 15Answers telephone in a prompt and courteous manner
- 16Maintains cleanliness of facility and picks up trash in the surrounding area
- 17Presents themselves professionally at all times while at work
- 18Arrives to work on time for scheduled shifts
- 19Completes any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor
Requirements14
- 1High School Diploma or an equivalent combination of experience and education
- 2Experience with automated parking access control hardware and software or a high aptitude for technology
- 3Valid state-issued driver’s license with current address and acceptable driving record if expected to drive company vehicle or business
- 4Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
- 5Ability to make change
- 6Ability to read write and interpret English language
- 7Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- 8Reasoning ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- 9Adaptability to changes in work environment and ability to deal with problem involving few concrete variables
- 10Proactive attitude with strong personal drive and proven customer service skills willing to lead by example
- 11Flexible schedule willingness
- 12Specific vision abilities required include close vision
- 13Physical demands: frequently required to stand walk use hands to finger handle objects tools controls reach with hands arms
- 14Exposure to moderate to high vehicle emissions hot cold temperatures moderate to high exposure to bright sunlight and nighttime working conditions
