Sourcing Specialist, Global Sourcing & Product Development
Overview
You will own the end-to-end sourcing and product development process for QVC's culinary and storage categories, from initial concept through fulfillment center delivery. You will collaborate with Buying, Design, QA, and Supply Chain teams to deliver high-quality products at the best value. This role reports to the Director, Home Sourcing and requires onsite presence in West Chester, PA several days per month. You will directly negotiate with factories and lead risk resolution to ensure on-time delivery and compliance.
What You'll Do6
- 1Manage the end-to-end sourcing process for assigned categories, from concept to delivery, ensuring products meet quality and value targets.
- 2Develop products across culinary and storage categories, including cookware, kitchen electrics, gadgets, and home organization, using Microsoft Excel and SAP for tracking.
- 3Negotiate cost, delivery, and terms directly with factories and sourcing partners to secure best-value outcomes.
- 4Partner with Buying, Design, QA, Supply Chain, Customs, and global sourcing teams to ensure seamless execution.
- 5Identify and resolve risks related to quality, testing, compliance, engineering, and production timelines, leveraging CPSC regulations.
- 6Drive product development timelines using Asana and Jira to coordinate cross-functional tasks and milestones.
Requirements5
- 15+ years in product development, sourcing, or production, with hardlines category experience.
- 25+ years managing categories such as cookware, kitchen electrics, kitchen gadgets, storage, or housewares.
- 35+ years working directly with factories in a retail environment, managing product development from concept to delivery.
- 45+ years applying product testing, compliance, and safety regulations, including CPSC requirements.
- 5Proven ability to partner across teams, combine commercial thinking with product expertise, and apply strong negotiation skills.
