Strategic Sourcing Advisor
Overview
You will own sourcing strategies for assigned categories, running end-to-end procurement from market analysis to contract negotiation for a leading energy company. You will work with SAP Ariba and Coupa to manage sourcing events, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and build supplier partnerships that drive value. Your work will improve cost efficiency and process compliance across the organization. This role offers exposure to high-impact projects and a clear path for professional growth in supply chain and procurement.
What You'll Do8
- 1Implement sourcing plans for assigned categories, executing end-to-end activities including market research, supplier evaluation, and bidding.
- 2Manage sourcing events and the full RFP process, engaging suppliers and stakeholders to ensure seamless execution.
- 3Analyze market trends and cost drivers using primary data sources to support commercial decisions.
- 4Lead vendor negotiations and manage category-specific sourcing activities to secure favorable terms.
- 5Maintain sourcing documentation and ensure compliance with procurement policies and company standards.
- 6Produce and update complex reports and databases in SAP Ariba and Microsoft Excel to track performance.
- 7Use Coupa and other digital tools to improve data quality and procurement visibility.
- 8Provide best-practice guidance to colleagues and stay current on procurement regulations and technologies.
Requirements10
- 11+ years of independent experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain functions.
- 2High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3Intermediate proficiency in verbal and written communication, with the ability to build relationships.
- 4Experience coordinating sourcing projects or supplier engagements (preferred).
- 5Knowledge of eProcurement systems or purchase-to-pay processes (preferred).
- 6Experience with vendor negotiations, cost analysis, or budgeting (preferred).
- 7Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools (preferred).
- 8Familiarity with supplier performance management and process improvement (preferred).
- 9Ability to conduct research and analyze data to support sourcing decisions (preferred).
- 10Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
