Indirect Procurement Manager, SG&A Categories
Overview
You will own sourcing and supplier management for $280MM+ in indirect spend across Professional Services, Consulting, People & Culture, Travel, and Contingent Labor. You will lead strategic initiatives that shape supplier relationships and drive measurable value. Working with cross-functional teams including Legal and Finance, you will implement best practices and technology like SAP and Ariba. This role offers direct impact on business objectives and a clear path to advance procurement maturity.
What You'll Do8
- 1Own the indirect procurement strategy for Professional Services, Consulting, People & Culture, Travel, and Contingent Labor, aligning with business goals.
- 2Lead the end-to-end sourcing lifecycle: RFIs, RFPs, competitive bidding, and negotiations for price, terms, and conditions.
- 3Build and manage supplier relationships using Supplier Relationship Management principles, driving performance and innovation.
- 4Analyze spend data with Power BI and Excel to identify cost-saving opportunities and support savings forecasting.
- 5Drive compliance with preferred suppliers and procurement policies, increasing adoption of SAP and Ariba.
- 6Partner with Legal and stakeholders to manage Master Service Agreements, End-User License Agreements, and Statements of Work.
- 7Mentor and coach procurement team members, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- 8Deliver measurable savings and value in the first 90 days by prioritizing quick wins in Travel and Contingent Labor categories.
Requirements8
- 17+ years in procurement, supply chain management, or SG&A spend categories.
- 2Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 32+ years focused on strategic vendor management and process improvement.
- 4Proven ability to design and implement procurement initiatives that drive transformation.
- 5Strong negotiation and contract management abilities.
- 6Demonstrated success in managing key supplier accounts and fostering strategic partnerships.
- 7Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SAP, Ariba, and Power BI preferred.
- 8Able to travel 5-10% (mainly domestic) for site and supplier visits.
