What You'll Do11
- 1Match product needs with suppliers possessing technical expertise and quality systems
- 2Negotiate COGS and key business terms with established and new vendors
- 3Prepare RFQs and analyze quotations to inform strategic recommendations
- 4Coordinate pre-award meetings and align evaluations with internal stakeholders
- 5Manage supplier transitions and optimize the supply base
- 6Maintain supplier scorecards and monitor performance against KPIs
- 7Identify alternative ingredients and manufacturing approaches for cost and quality improvements
- 8Lead formulation transfers and supplier qualification activities
- 9Assess raw material costs and regulatory constraints for product development
- 10Support confidentiality agreements and protect proprietary formulations
- 11Travel approximately 25 percent to evaluate suppliers globally
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Engineering Manufacturing Business or related field
- 2At least three years managing global supplier relationships
- 3Proven experience sourcing formulated consumer products or regulated goods
- 4Strong negotiation and project management abilities
- 5Expertise with Microsoft Excel and global sourcing platforms
- 6Knowledge of commodity markets and manufacturing processes
- 7Understanding of Lean manufacturing principles
- 8Experience handling RFIs proposals and compliance audits
- 9Ability to prioritize complex projects with attention to detail
- 10Cross-functional collaboration skills across product development and operations
- 11Commitment to ethical business practices and legal compliance
