Overview
Lead a procurement team to manage sourcing of custom promotional products worldwide. Oversee team operations and ensure cost-effective delivery of high-quality merchandise.
What You'll Do11
- 1Manage a team of 4-5 procurement specialists to execute RFQs efficiently
- 2Collaborate with Sales Team to process customer requests and maintain timelines
- 3Utilize project management systems to track product development initiatives
- 4Partner with Graphic Design team to create customer-approved product mockups
- 5Source products from Chinese factories while verifying quality and cost-effectiveness
- 6Analyze supplier quotes for unit pricing packaging and mold expenses
- 7Calculate shipping costs using DHL FedEx IE or ocean transport options
- 8Apply HTS codes and tariff rates to finalize accurate cost calculations
- 9Provide competitive pricing details to sales representatives and customers
- 10Maintain strong vendor relationships through consistent communication
- 11Handle all office management duties supporting procurement operations
Requirements10
- 15+ years in procurement sourcing or supply chain management with promotional products experience
- 2Proven leadership managing cross-functional teams and sales departments
- 3Proficiency with project management software like Wrike and advanced Excel skills
- 4Strong negotiation abilities and clear communication capabilities
- 5Detail-oriented approach to analyzing costs tariffs and logistics
- 6Familiarity with Chinese manufacturing processes and international shipping logistics
- 7CPC Card certification preferred
- 8BCBA certification optional but beneficial
- 9AWS Certified relevant for cloud-based procurement systems
- 10Experience with Kubernetes for scalable procurement platforms
