- 4Monitor supplier performance and approve purchases as authorized
- 5Develop and update procurement policies and procedures
- 6Track supplier costs schedules and performance metrics
- 7Oversee change orders and disposition processes
- 8Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to align inventories
- 9Select develop and evaluate staff ensuring procurement function efficiency
- 10Conduct on-site supplier audits and verify compliance
- 11Measure success via supplier quality on-time delivery and change order effectiveness
Requirements8
- 1Bachelor’s degree or MBA with 7 years materials management experience or equivalent
- 2APICS certification preferred
- 3At least 4 years managerial experience with direct reports
- 4Experience optimizing procurement strategies
- 5Proficiency in planning implementation and execution of procurement initiatives
- 6Knowledge of supplier audits negotiation and contract management
- 7Familiarity with FDA regulatory requirements is a plus
- 8Strong leadership communication and analytical skills
