Sort Associate - IT Asset Disposition | DMD Systems
Overview
The Sort Associate captures details of every IT asset DMD receives, ensuring accurate reconciliation and responsible disposition. You will enter asset data, consult decision matrices, and determine whether each item is resold or recycled. Working in a certified B Corp environment, you will support operations across multiple facilities. This role offers hands-on experience in the electronics sustainability field.
What You'll Do7
- 1Capture associated IT asset data and enter into our system
- 2Determine the next phase of the process for each item
- 3Organize equipment based on type, value, or other criteria as necessary
- 4Separate items based on resale or recycle
- 5Recommend actions to improve the department and outcomes
- 6Complete offsite projects as appropriate
- 7Perform other duties as necessary and assigned
Requirements5
- 1High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 2Computer basics including data entry
- 3Great communication skills, detail-oriented, and consistent
- 4Previous warehouse experience preferred
- 5Ability to stand for long periods, squat, twist, bend, and lift between 10-50 lbs. (or more) regularly
