What You'll Do6
- 1Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to examine tissue and body structures, ensuring high-quality images for clinical interpretation.
- 2Set up equipment for routine and complex studies, maintaining procedure rooms and promptly submitting accurate images to PACS.
- 3Implement rigorous safety standards, perform quality control procedures, and ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- 4Monitor equipment functionality, troubleshoot malfunctions, and manage lock/tag-out procedures when necessary.
- 5Maintain a clean, organized department environment, supporting efficient workflow and patient care.
- 6Collaborate with maternal fetal medicine specialists to capture critical images for diagnosis and treatment planning.
Requirements5
- 1BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
- 2Radiologic Technologist specializing in Sonography credentialed from ARRT within 12 months of hire.
- 3Medical Sonographer credentialed from ARDMS within 12 months of hire.
- 4High school diploma/GED with 2 years experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical certificate/degree.
- 5Fetal Monitor Certification required, with Maternal Fetal Medicine experience strongly preferred.
