OB/GYN Sonographer, ARDMS Certified
Overview
You will own the full ultrasound imaging cycle for OB/GYN patients at Sonopartners, a partner to leading providers in Charlotte. You will work alongside clinical staff to deliver precise diagnostic images, with no nights, weekends, or call. ARDMS certification and 2+ years of OB/GYN experience are core to this role. What You'll Do8
- 1Perform high-quality OB/GYN ultrasound examinations for routine and high-risk pregnancies.
- 2Capture diagnostic images using Voluson and GE equipment, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- 3Collaborate with physicians and midwives to support patient care decisions.
- 4Document findings in the EPIC system, maintaining compliance with HIPAA standards.
- 5Deliver compassionate, professional patient interactions during every exam.
- 6Train new sonographers on protocols and equipment, when needed.
- 7Maintain exam room readiness, including stocking supplies and checking equipment.
- 8Participate in quality assurance reviews to uphold imaging standards.
Requirements7
- 1ARDMS certification with OB/GYN specialty (required).
- 22+ years of OB/GYN ultrasound experience, with MFM preferred.
- 3Strong technical proficiency with ultrasound systems and image optimization.
- 4Ability to work independently and manage a patient caseload.
- 5Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- 6Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 7Willingness to work onsite in Charlotte, NC.
