Part-Time Gynecological Sonographer
Overview
Perform ultrasound diagnostic procedures and support GYN team at Billingsley Monday Wednesday Friday 7:30 am to 5 pm. This part-time role supports patient care and resource utilization while maintaining accreditation standards.
What You'll Do11
- 1Check patient arrival in Athena and verify orders
- 2Conduct ultrasound diagnostic procedures as directed by physicians
- 3Create independent imaging for diagnostic purposes
- 4Document test results and retain hard copy images
- 5Inspect equipment daily and log necessary repairs
- 6Review patient charts for prior studies and relevant information
- 7Complete reports and input appropriate charges
- 8Notify ordering physicians of abnormal findings
- 9Assist in ordering supplies
- 10Maintain ACR standards for accreditation compliance
- 11Ensure HIPAA compliance during all patient interactions
Requirements8
- 1Associate degree minimum
- 2ARDMS certification
- 3American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
- 4Hepatitis B and Flu vaccinations current
- 5Two years gynecological experience
- 6Physical stamina for walking standing lifting 35 pounds
- 7Ability to concentrate on detail
- 8Proficiency using computers for extended periods
