What You'll Do11

  • 1Operate monitor maintain and respond to abnormal conditions across electrical mechanical communications and building monitoring systems
  • 2Ensure maximum operational efficiency by analyzing conditions recommending technologies and reducing costs
  • 3Manage systems to prevent unplanned outages following management directives for optimal cooling
  • 4Work with contractors for system expansions and upgrades
  • 5Track and complete preventive predictive maintenance schedules with senior technicians
  • 6Assist with database maintenance resolving site issues based on priority
  • 7Handle trouble tickets and remote hands management
  • 8Perform fiber and copper cabling terminations and verify circuit paths
  • 9Coordinate power installations upgrades and coordinate cage cabinet builds
  • 10Navigate CMMS systems using developed procedures to solve problems
  • 11Maintain inventory manage assets and document facility security tours

Requirements9

  • 1Active-duty US Military personnel transitioning out of service with high school diploma or GED
  • 22-5 years related experience in data center operations
  • 3Proficiency with NEC NFPA 70E NFPA 72 NFPA 25 and building codes
  • 4Expertise in industrial safety practices lockout tag out arc flash protection OSHA
  • 5Skills in data trending analysis and learning PC-based monitoring systems
  • 6Leadership abilities effective communication and multi-tasking
  • 7Experience with fiber copper cabling termination and PLC controls
  • 8Knowledge of emergency standby diesel generator systems fuel oil distribution
  • 9Ability to operate hand and machine tools and electrical diagnostic equipment
