Site Operations Director, Data Center Infrastructure & Leadership
Overview
Lead the day-to-day operations for a hyperscale data center site guiding mechanical and electrical systems to 100% uptime. Own budgets, vendor relationships, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives across a multi-disciplinary team of 20+ personnel and third-party partners. Collaborate across construction, controls, and customer operations to support growth and innovation.
What You'll Do10
- 1Build and lead critical facilities, logistics, and site security teams to ensure 100% uptime
- 2Drive OPEX and CAPEX budgeting, contracts, and vendor relationship management
- 3Promote safety, security, and environmental compliance creating a culture of accountability
- 4Create, track, and report KPIs to derive operational insights and results
- 5Own internal and external stakeholder relationships and drive customer satisfaction
- 6Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support growth and innovation
- 7Support hiring, onboarding, and development of site personnel
- 8Provide strategic planning and proactive leadership for site operations
- 9Coordinate with third-party vendors to deliver reliable infrastructure
- 10Monitor and improve performance of electrical and mechanical systems
Requirements6
- 1Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline, or equivalent industry certification and experience
- 2Minimum 8+ years of leadership experience managing operational teams in critical infrastructure environments
- 3Minimum 8+ years of experience supporting mechanical and electrical infrastructure systems
- 4Experience in mission-critical environments such as data centers, hospitals, utilities, power generation, or industrial facilities
- 5Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and third-party vendors
- 6Strong financial and operational management experience, including budget oversight and vendor contract management
Salary Insight
$185 - $215k per year
