Overview
You will own systems integration and test (SI&T) for US Navy combat and weapons systems across surface and subsurface platforms. You will execute SI&T activities, design physical and electrical interfaces, and manage waterfront test programs for the Navy. Your work supports AEGIS Combat System and Integrated Combat System (ICS) on active ships. This role offers direct impact on fleet readiness with 20% travel to naval installations.

- 1Execute SI&T activities for US Navy systems, from detailed design through waterfront test completion.
- 2Design and implement physical and electrical interfaces for combat systems, adhering to ship design constraints and equipment installation criteria.
- 3Develop recommendations for system load-out, installation, and test plans for naval platforms.
- 4Run waterfront ship test programs, ensuring completion against schedule and technical requirements.
- 5Manage life cycle planning for combat systems, including system upgrades and retrofits.
- 6Collaborate with shipyard and Navy stakeholders to coordinate test events and resolve integration issues.
- 7Support AEGIS Combat System and ICS test team management as a senior engineer.
- 8Develop system test requirements, POA&M, and manage technical exchanges for test activities.
Requirements10
- 1Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, or Science with 4+ years (mid) or 10+ years (senior) of naval or systems engineering experience.
- 2Senior-level: 3+ years in a supervisory role and experience with AEGIS Combat System.
- 3Proficiency with Microsoft Office and strong written and oral communication skills.
- 4Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 5Experience executing SI&T activities of US Navy systems.
- 6Experience with detailed design implementation of physical and electrical interfaces.
- 7Experience working with ship design constraints, equipment installation criteria, and platform support systems.
- 8Experience developing system load-out, installation, and test plans.
- 9Experience executing waterfront ship test programs and managing test completion.
- 10Knowledge of life cycle management planning for naval systems.
