- 1Ensure compatibility between weapon system ship facilities via electrical interface management at subsystem boundaries
- 2Process and evaluate changes to power telemetry software electromagnetic interference and cabling requirements
- 3Model electrical interface requirements using DOORS and Cameo tools
- 4Collaborate with government reps technical leads and contractors to clarify interface specifications
- 5Review engineering documents to maintain accurate system requirements
- 6Support subsystem design by defining integrating electrical interfaces
- 7Utilize DOORS and Cameo to capture track and maintain requirements
- 8Contribute to PLM activities aligning requirements with configuration baselines
- 9Participate in reviews verifying requirements consistency completeness and accuracy
- 10Communicate changes impacts and technical considerations to management technical teams and stakeholders
- 11Present requirements status to customers and large groups virtually and in person
- 12Apply proactive problem solving to prioritize and resolve interface issues
- 13Manage multiple requirement changes using strong organizational skills
- 14Support SEV model aligned systems engineering activities and milestones
Requirements11
- 1Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering Aerospace Engineering
- 22–6 years professional experience with minimum 4 years in systems or electrical engineering
- 3Demonstrated experience with DOORS engineering requirements documents and Excel
- 4Strong understanding of power telemetry software electromagnetic interference and cabling interfaces
- 5Excellent oral written and interpersonal communication skills
- 6Ability to speak confidently to stakeholders virtually and in person
- 7High attention to detail in processing and documenting requirements
- 8Proactive problem solving mindset for technical issues
- 9Extensive knowledge in electrical domains such as power data or communications
- 10Familiarity with SEV model and PLM tools
- 11Experience with subsystem design integration in complex electrical weapon systems
